NASCAR 2011 The Game – Wrecks and Damage

Eutechnyx has released a new developer diary video of their NASCAR 2011. This dev diary takes a look at how much time and thought was put into the game's damage model.

The game will feature online races for 16-players. A damage model has been included with cars catapulting into the air and barrel-rolling over others. All of the 23 Sprint Cup Series race tracks will featured in the game. Eutechnyx later announced 43 drivers have been added to the game, as well as some other drivers who compete in the Nationwide Series.

The planned release in February has been postponed to March 29th. NASCAR 2011 The Game, will be released for the Nintendo Wii, XBox 360 and Playstation 3.

Need for Speed Shift 2 – Launch Trailer

STCC - The Game 2 Released

The Swedish game development company SimBin Studios AB have released STCC The Game 2 expansion pack for the award winning PC racing game “RACE 07” few days ago. STCC The Game  2 is now available here at RaceRoom Online for only 9.99 Euro.

The STCC The Game 2 expansion pack offers 18 unique cars and 6 high detail tracks. The content of this pack is based on the 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season as well as the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup which includes the entrants from the Danish Touring car Championship.

EA has released a new gameplay video of the upcoming Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed. Professional race car driver Tommy Milner completes a race on the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca track in a Corvette C6.R GT1.

NASCAR the Game 2011: Lap around Las Vegas

FOX Sports has released a new preview video of  the NASCAR The Game 2011. Brad Keslowski takes you a lap around Las Vegas in the #2 Miller Lite Dodge. This includes a first glimpse at the new 2011 DLC for NTG11.

It will be the first NASCAR game since the contract between EA Sports and NASCAR expired. The game will also feature online races for 16-players. DiRT 3 - Kenya gameplay video

VVV Gamer has released a gameplay video of the upcoming DiRT 3 rally game showing a full stage of the Kenya Rally.

DiRT 3 will feature over 50 cars that can be raced on over 100 stages. It will also offer the '70s cars such as the Lancia Stratos, the famously fierce Group B cars of the mid-80s are represented by Quattro S1, RS2000 and Peugeot 205 among others. The '90s gives us the Toyota Celica, the Lancia Delta Integrale or Colin McRae's Subaru Impreza.

DiRT 3 is scheduled for release on May 24th, 2011 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed is an upcoming racing video game, the 17th title in the Need for Speed franchise, under development by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts. The game is the direct sequel to the critically acclaimed 2009 video game Need for Speed: Shift and expands on the gameplay and features introduced with the original. The game includes multiplayer modes which allow up to 16 players to battle it out for the win online. Race 07 - Patch 1.2.1.4

Simbin has released a new patch for Race 07. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

  • Updated version to 1.2.1.4
  • Added support for cars with seven gears engines
  • Updated garage setup gearmapping visualization graph to make it adapt dynamically to the car specifications
  • Updated HUD revmeter to only show every other digit when reving more than 16000 rpm
  • Fixed an issue where a pit window was shown in all sessions instead of race only when mandatory pitstop was enabled
  • Corrected an issue in second race session with HUD pitstop menu that didn't display correctly
